The Short & Sweet

A blend of technical expertise with a deep understanding of visual execution and systems thinking.

More specifically, I build and maintain systems that increase the efficiency of teams around me. I’m also a designer that can’t help but dabble in the world of front-end engineering. I am passionate about creating and developing the culture of a team, nurturing talent, and helping everyone around me level-up.

The Deep Dive

I have always found it difficult to acknowledge my value.

I am a people person. I care deeply about those that are pulled into my orbit. I seek to inspire those around me through positivity and openness. My belief is that people create thoughtful experiences when they feel safe, I strive to create that space for those around me.

Like many, I start to get uncomfortable the more and more I have to “sell” myself, especially in a setting like this where there isn’t an avenue for conversation, it is just words on a screen. I’ve been fortunate in my career to work with some truly kind people that have given me my flowers. I’d love to share them with you.

Follow Along

Everything I’m working on is entirely viewable by the public. This Figma file contains a compact design system and components. Most importantly, I’m going to leave the sandbox space as is to show my process and how I refine concepts into what you see here.

You can also see my version history on GitHub and get glimpse of how I’m using style-dictionary to convert my primitives and semantics .json to tokens that I use to maintain consistency and make updating styles a breeze.

11ty is my site generator of choice, and everything is deployed through Netlify.
